Cancellation & Reservation Policy

At Rocket Trailer Rental, every reservation is made specifically for you. Once a trailer is reserved, it is removed from our available inventory and may prevent us from renting it to another customer.

Because of this, all reservations are subject to the following cancellation policy.

1. Reservation Payment

A reservation is not considered confirmed until the required payment or deposit has been received.

All reservation payments are non-refundable once the reservation is confirmed, except where specifically stated otherwise in this policy.

2. Cancellations More Than 48 Hours Before Pickup

Customers who cancel more than 48 hours before their scheduled pickup time may receive a refund of eligible rental amounts paid, less the non-refundable reservation/processing fee.

3. Cancellations Within 48 Hours of Pickup

Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable.

The customer will forfeit all payments made toward the reservation.

This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including changes in plans, vehicle problems, scheduling conflicts, travel delays, or finding another trailer.

4. Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows

Same-day cancellations, failure to appear for pickup, or failure to contact Rocket Trailer Rental before the scheduled pickup time will result in the loss of all rental payments.

No refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided for no-shows.

5. Late Arrival

Customers are responsible for arriving on time for their scheduled pickup.

Arriving late does not automatically extend the rental period or reduce the rental price. If the customer fails to arrive within a reasonable period and does not communicate with Rocket Trailer Rental, the reservation may be treated as a no-show and all payments may be forfeited.

6. Early Returns

Once a rental period begins, no refunds or credits will be provided for early returns.

The customer remains responsible for the full rental amount originally agreed upon.

7. Rescheduling

Rescheduling is subject to trailer availability and is not guaranteed.

Requests to reschedule made more than 48 hours before pickup may be considered without penalty.

Requests made within 48 hours of pickup may be treated as a cancellation and may result in forfeiture of all payments.

Rocket Trailer Rental may allow a one-time rescheduling as a courtesy, but approval is at the company's discretion.

8. Weather

Normal rain, heat, cold, or other typical weather conditions are not grounds for a refund.

If severe weather creates conditions that Rocket Trailer Rental determines make the rental unsafe or prevents the trailer from being provided, Rocket Trailer Rental may offer a reschedule or refund at its discretion.

Customers who simply choose not to travel because of weather remain subject to the standard cancellation policy.

9. Trailer or Equipment Issues

If Rocket Trailer Rental is unable to provide the reserved trailer due to an equipment failure, unexpected damage, or another issue caused by Rocket Trailer Rental, the customer may choose to:

  • Reschedule for another available date; or

  • Receive a full refund of payments made for the affected reservation.

10. Reservation Transfer

Reservations are made for the customer who originally booked the trailer and may not be transferred to another person without prior approval from Rocket Trailer Rental.

11. No Exceptions Based on Personal Circumstances

The cancellation policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including:

  • Change of plans

  • Vehicle breakdown

  • Work schedule changes

  • Travel delays

  • Illness

  • Family emergencies

  • Finding another trailer

  • Changing the towing vehicle

  • Failure to obtain the required towing vehicle or equipment

  • Incorrectly scheduling the rental date or time

Rocket Trailer Rental may make exceptions at its sole discretion, but no exception is guaranteed.

Customer Acknowledgment

By completing a reservation with Rocket Trailer Rental, the customer acknowledges that:

The trailer is being held specifically for their rental period, and canceling within the restricted cancellation period may prevent Rocket Trailer Rental from renting that trailer to another customer.

By submitting payment, the customer confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to this Cancellation & Reservation Policy.
